WHY US?
Really though, why us? Why buy a bike from Class Cycles? That's a fair question. Connecticut has a lot of bike shops, we all sell the same stuff, for about the same price, in the same colors. We all use the same tools to fix the same problems. We order the same parts from the same distributors. Let's face it, we have a lot in common with other shops, but we can't control that.
What we do have control of is our level of dedication and the service we provide. Our showroom is one of the best stocked and friendliest in the state. Our service department is one of the most qualified and highest skilled in the state. Our least experienced employee is on his 8th year at the shop, thats more than twice as long as some of our competitors have been in business. We are excited, serious, and passionate about the cycling experience you share with us.
Our shop staff lives for this. This lifestyle is not an easy one, especially for people who love to ride. We watch beautiful days roll by outside the window as some of the best riding weather passes by when we are busiest. Yet we continue to do what we do because we are passionate about putting people on bikes. That passion directly impacts your experience with the shop. Come in knowing we are dedicated to our customers. We don't care whether you've ridden all your life or if you're just checking bikes out for the first time. We don't care if you're not as excited about electric drive trains as us (but really, how cool is that?). All we care about is making sure you leave the shop with a smile on your face.
We've all heard horror stories about mechanical failures. Did you hear the one about the guy who got so frustrated with his chain dropping he threw his bike into the woods? He came here afterward and hasn't had a problem since. How about the one where the guy had his disc brakes bled only to have them fail 5 minutes into the ride. He comes here now too. Or what about all of the folks who pay huge entry fees for triathlons, only to have the experiences ruined because their bike didn't shift right, A lot of them come here to have their bikes serviced now. We are unashamed of the natural mechanical ability of our service staff. We trust our lives to them every time we get on our bikes. Whether we're riding with our families, or throwing ourselves off a 12 foot drop at a mountain bike park.
Please though, don't just take our word on it, read what some of our customers have to say about their experience with Class Cycles. And if you have a testimonial or any kind of feedback to share with us, please let us know. The suggestions of our friends and customers over the past 27 years have made us the shop we are today. Let us know if you have a story you'd like us to share on the site. Email anything you have to say to support@class-cycles.com.

Each time we get treated with the same wonderful respect.
They really go above and beyond.

go out of their way to make sure every customer has an awesome shopping
experience.
Ive been fit for a carbon road bike, purchased it, picked up accessories and have asked
them endless product and tech questions. Most recently my 10 yr old picked
out an entry level bike with help from the staff, where the bike color was
most important. Each time we get treated with the same wonderful respect.
They really go above and beyond.
Don't hesitate to make Class Cycles your 'go to' Bike Shop!

Besides Roy's jokes, and great service, and the friendly atmosphere, Class Cycles has been a great supporter of the trails at Waldo.

Besides Roy's jokes, and great service, and the friendly atmosphere, Class Cycles has been a great supporter of the trails at Waldo. We had a trail building class at Class Cycles, and the Friday night ride guys have put in many hours helping out on the trail. So many thanks!

Between Roy and Greg I was given great advice and through their wonderful guidance I was able to purchase the perfect bike and successfully completed my 4100 mile journey across the U.S.

About four years ago I made the crazy decision to ride a bike across the United States. I knew that my mountain bike would not get the job done. As I searched for a bike shop that could give me some expert advice I came to the realization that the serious bike shops are run by a bunch of elitists. At least that's what I thought until I discovered Class Cycles in Southbury. Between Roy and Greg I was given great advice and through their wonderful guidance I was able to purchase the perfect bike and successfully completed my 4100 mile journey across the U.S. Class Cycles will recommend the best bike for your needs and with Scott and Rob in the service department, the will keep it in tip top condition.
